Creamy Mushroom Pasta

8 ounces noodle-shaped pasta (such as fettuccine or linguine)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Earths Basket Magic Shrooms blend
8 ounces mushrooms (such as cremini or button), sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup vegetable broth
1 cup heavy cream or plant-based cream substitute
Handful of fresh cress or microgreens
Fresh basil leaves, torn
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast (optional, for topping)
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Earths Basket Magic Shrooms blend and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they begin to soften and brown, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream or plant-based cream substitute. Stir well to combine and let it simmer gently for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the creamy mushroom sauce until well coated. Cook for another minute to heat through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
