Wheatgrass Detox & Immune Booster Juice
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 10 Minutes | Serves: 1 serving
1 teaspoon Earths Basket Wheatgrass Powder or 2 ounces fresh wheatgrass
1 green apple
1-inch piece of ginger
Handful of fresh mint leaves
2 cups water
Mint leaves, for garnish
Wash all the fruits, vegetables, and mint leaves thoroughly.
Cut the green apple, cucumber, and lemon into small chunks, removing any seeds or tough parts.
Peel the ginger and cut it into smaller pieces.
In a blender, add the green apple, cucumber, lemon juice (squeeze out the juice), ginger, fresh mint leaves, and water.
Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the juice is smooth.
If using wheatgrass powder, add it to the blender and blend for an additional 10-15 seconds to incorporate it into the juice.
If using fresh wheatgrass, pass it through a juicer or blend it separately with a little water, then strain the juice into the blender with the other ingredients.
Pour the wheatgrass detox and immune booster juice into glasses.
Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint leaves.
Serve the juice immediately and enjoy its refreshing and detoxifying benefits.
