Turmeric Latte (Golden Milk)

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like almond milk or coconut milk)
1 teaspoon Earths Basket Turmeric Powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
Pinch of black pepper
1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Dash of nutmeg (for garnish, optional)
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
Add the turmeric powder, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, and a pinch of black pepper to the milk.
Whisk the ingredients together until well combined and simmer for about 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
If desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten the latte, adjusting the amount to your taste preference. You can also add vanilla extract for additional flavor.
Once the latte is heated and the flavors are well incorporated, remove it from the heat.
Pour the turmeric latte into a mug and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg, if desired.
