Super Spirulina Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup coconut water
1 ripe banana
Handful fresh spinach leaves
1 tablespoon Spirulina powder
1 tablespoon nut butter (such as almond butter or peanut butter)
1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds (optional)
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness)
Ice cubes (optional for a chilled drink)
Method:
STEP 1
In a blender, combine coconut water, ripe banana, Spirulina powder, chia seeds or flax seeds (if using), nut butter, and honey or maple syrup (if desired).
STEP 2
Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
STEP 3
If you prefer a chilled drink, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the desired temperature is reached.
STEP 4
Pour the green drink into a glass and serve immediately.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less honey or maple syrup according to your taste preferences. You can also customize the recipe by adding other ingredients like fresh mint leaves, a squeeze of lemon juice, or a small piece of ginger for added flavor. Enjoy your healthy Spirulina green drink!
